It need not be something extravagant as long as you know that what you’ll buy will be worthwhile in the long run – like an item or accessory that will make your look go from ho-hum to wo-wow! When you know that you look good, you feel more confident. Besides, even if people say that what matters is a person’s personality, we need to be always presentable because first impressions last.

Accessories can be anything from a stylish backpack purse to totes boots that will complement something that you currently have in your wardrobe. Yes, before shopping for an accessory or clothing, you should consider your current stuffs and see if the new item will go along with them.

Investing on blazers, vests and jackets (such as the michael kors leather jacket) is also a nice way of getting more looks with just a single item. Mix-and-match those with your current blouses, shirts, pants and skirts – and viola! More look for less.

A word of caution though: don’t splurge and go on a shopping spree if you can’t afford it. The key phrase here is “once in a while” – and I have to add, shop wisely.
