I’d like to extend some warm congratulatory greetings to my niece, Jen, for finishing high school. Yesterday was her graduation day here in Las Vegas and even though I didn’t attend the graduation ceremony because I was in charge with all the preparation for the post-graduation party at their house, I share in their joy for this another milestone in the family.
Jen plans to take up dentistry in college. Honestly, I don’t have any idea when she mentioned about preventive dentistry nor gum disease treatment melbourne but I have to say that I love her enthusiasm whenever she talks about her plans in college. Kudos to my sister-in-law, Tina, for getting a college plan for her daughter too because Jen won’t have to go through college with a student loan. Needless to say, with Tina’s careful planning and hindsight, Jen’s gonna be a full-time student in college.
Anyway, speaking of her graduation ceremony, we had lots of foods yesterday. Since Tina’s from the Philippines, we had lots of filipino dishes yesterday such as roasted pig (the whole pig), puto cheese, kare-kare, asado, kaldereta, fruit salad, leche flan, chop suey and steamed rice. We also had spaghetti, chicken and cake.
It was a wonderful party since a lot of people came over even though it was a weekday. Our aunt who was visiting from Washington also dropped by so it became some sort of a family reunion as well.
Again, congratulations Jen. Happy graduation and good luck to the new journey!
