It’s less than ten days before my much-awaited Black Friday shopping spree! For some, it might not be a big deal but I have been shopping during Black Fridays and I know that if you just do your homework, you can get the best deals on that day!
With doing the homework means that you first research what items you really do need so that you won’t be tempted to buy things that you’ll not be using. Then, if your favorite store offers them, take note of the pre-Black Friday sale prices so that you’ll know how much you will be saving during the sale. This is quite important! I remember seeing a DSLR camera that cost more during Black Friday (thanks goodness! I’ve been monitoring the prices) despite the seller claiming that it’s sold at 15 to 20% off during the sale. If you’re not careful, you’ll end up spending more!
Third, look for merchants that offer Black Friday deals online (ahh! one of the things I love about technology and the development of online store software). You’ll save on time, gas and effort if you just stay at home and do your shopping online. You can basically visit a lot of (online) stores during that day instead of spending your day lining up at one store.
And lastly, make sure that you have enough credit available on your credit card. You can’t do shopping online if you don’t have it, alright?
Oh, and let me add: don’t overdo it! Just buy what you need and what you can actually afford. Ayt?
