I visited my friend, Trisha, yesterday and we decided to drop by our favorite sushi restaurant during lunch and have a rendezvous with two of our friends there.
The food was great – I never realized how much I missed sushi till I ate them again. I also had a wonderful time chatting with my three best friends – a very rare occasion after we started with our careers. To cut it short, I enjoyed myself immensely yesterday.
I took care of the bill and paid using my credit card. As I was waiting for the waiter to return my card while they do the credit card payment processing at the counter, I realized how helpful credit card is. For those who manage their credit well, credit cards are such useful tools. You don’t need to carry cash or bills every time you go out and somehow, it gives you a feeling of security – unlike when you’re carrying lots of cash that you’ll always be wary of anyone who will rob or hold up you. Credit cards made the process of purchasing convenient too because with just a swipe of a card, you’re all set.
I’m just glad that most establishments are now accepting credit card payments. I can’t imagine how people managed to survive without those cards before.
